song chosen: Journey - Don't Stop Believing

the scout is upset because his father (the spy) was killed by a sniper. before he died, he said "My son, remember...don't stop....believing.....". and then the Scout never did, however his soul is empty without him at his side. but he remembered what his father said, and he lived on and on. a few years later, he is living on the south of Detroit with a bunch of strangers surrounding him
